Stunning Wellness and Laser

Maybe you’ve heard about the incredible benefits that med spa treatments can have on your appearance and your confidence.

You’re curious, but also a little hesitant.

If this is you, we want you to know that you can approach treatments at your own pace and comfort level. We have a lot of practice introducing newcomers to these life-enhancing treatments, even if the only previous experience they have is getting a facial or an eyebrow tweeze.

To start off with, we usually like to provide our new clients with a primer on some of the basics of med spa treatments, including:

  • How Botox works
  • Photofacials versus laser procedures and how to choose the best option for your skin’s specific needs
  • How to select skin care products that are tailored to the issues you would like to correct

Once you’re familiar with the basics, we recommend dipping your toes into the water with some of the most popular and least intimidating procedures:

Hydrafacial

A hydrafacial is an excellent first step into the world of med spa treatments. It’s similar to a facial but goes beyond what a traditional facial can provide. Hydrafacials resurface the skin without using a laser, exfoliating the surface and clearing up dirt and oil. The treatment also involves a chemical peel and customized corrective serums to boost hydration and antioxidant activity. It will help your skin look bright, smooth, healthy, and youthful and get you acquainted with the experience and results of a medical-grade skin treatment.

Botox

Botox is a great treatment for med spa beginners because it’s a simple procedure that doesn’t require significant preparation or downtime, and you can start small and work your way up, depending on your comfort level with it.

Newbies may wish to choose a small area for their first Botox injection, such as the outer corners of the eyes or the upper lip. The appointment is usually quick and virtually painless. However, there is the possibility of some bruising and swelling, since your soft tissues are penetrated by a needle.

Assembling a skin care regimen

Med spa products and skin rejuvenation services are a completely different universe from what you can buy at your local drugstore, both in terms of price and results. In this case, the old saying is true: you get what you pay for.

Medical-grade, physician-dispensed skin care products actually live up to the claims made on the packaging, and they have third-party lab-tested results to prove it. They also contain more bioavailable ingredients and have higher concentrations of them.
